Backside reads: "O Holy san Judas, Glorious Apostle, patron of things despaired of, pray for me, that I may receive comfort and consolation in my hour of need. Show me the way through my suffering. My gratitude shall be always yours."
About the Saint: San Judas Tadeo is one of the Apostles, who is said in Luke 6:16 to be the brother of James. It is believed he traveled to Persia with St. Simon where they were beaten to death. Little is known about this Apostle. He was ignored by the early church because his name is that of the other Judas who betrayed Christ. That is why San Judas is invoked in times of need.
